FAQS

How does payment work?Yeah. really simple. Payment of 50% of the set up fee is due before initial consultation, with then the rest on completion of our call, which includes the first 4 weeks of a programme. Payment can be taken via bank transfer or paypal. I'll email full details upon completion of the initial questionnaire.

Is it easy to cancel or stop?Of course, Simply let me know you no longer wish to continue with your programme and you'll receive no more fees. As payment is taken in advance, you can still avail of any scheduled calls or programme design

What makes these plans different to a general plan template you can readily get online or an AI generated one? Some of these plans on the market have great schedules and training programmes designed through following established "best practice" to get results. The downside of this though is that the specifics of the individual cannot be taken into account, as well as the timing of their goal race our outcome, and so many risk factors increase for the individual if it doesn't suit their needs, lifestyle, training history, performance potential or schedule. They definitely have their place and I have used them in the past, but they lack one important principle of all successful programmes. Personalisation.

Do you work with anybody with an interest in running?Geographically yes, but I will not provide advice or programmes for anybody. If you have never ran before (endurance running of 5k and above) before I would advise completing a couch to 5k programme. It almost doesn't need said, but I don't work with elite or sub-elite runners who may need levels of sophistication, one-to-one peer advice advice and time that I haven't the experience or bandwidth to provide specific support to an advanced level athlete.
-
Do you offer in-person support?I'm afraid not at the moment. I coach at my running club and if I had the time I would love to offer some one-to-one in person coaching, but the time and energy I can dedicate to this lends itself to online only, even if the athlete is local. I hope to offer this in the future though.

Do you offer specific coaching on biomechanics and running form?As my service is online, with limited time to get to know an athlete and their movement I do not offer specific coaching on running biomechanics or form. My service focusses on co-creating the right running plan based on athlete history and current running fitness, athlete input, solid scientific training principles and lifestyle. During a programme at check-ins I can offer a range of advice on things like improving running form and efficiency with video demos and access to british athletics created content that I have as an official coach.
